To help the children with their education we have been building them schools.
The best way for you to help is by giving a donation to 100 Schools.
In order to keep this project rolling, we need financial support to cover the cost of school construction, maintenance , scholarships and the students’ academic necessities listed below.
If you reside in the U.S. and you wish to make a tax deductible donation, this is also possible by sending a check to our U.S. 501(c)(3) affiliate. Contact us here for details.
Checks should be made out to Vipassana Metta Foundation with a covering note that the donation is for a 100 Schools project.
Depending on how remote and accessible the school site is, it costs between $12 to $14 per square foot to build a strong earthquake and flood resistant school, one which includes a proper toilet for each 50 students. This means the cost ranges from $36,000 for a primary school up to $51,000 to build a single story high school.
